Make sure the thermostat and timer are asking for heat, and turn it up a few degrees.
Power to the boiler?
Check the display is lit and the fused spur switch next to the boiler hasn't tripped.
Pressure gauge
Most combis sit between 1 and 1.5 bar. Note the reading. If it keeps dropping, tell us.
Other gas appliances
If your hob also won't light, the problem may be the gas supply rather than the boiler.
Please don't remove the boiler casing or attempt gas repairs yourself.

Call the National Gas Emergency Service first. It's free and open 24 hours a day. Open windows, don't use switches or naked flames, and turn the gas off at the meter if it's safe to.
